Pasbjerg Development Co. enjoys the distinction as one of New Jersey's oldest and most successful real estate organizations specializing in the development, sale, leasing, financing and management of shopping centers and retail properties throughout New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

Founded in 1960, Pasbjerg has a long history in the field of shopping center development, leasing and management. Pasbjerg was cited to be the first in the state to revolutionize the concept of "Strip Shopping Centers" with the development of Styretowne Shopping Center in Clifton, New Jersey.

This highly successful concept of neighborhood convenience centers was soon followed by numerous shopping center acquisitions, developments and leases.

Pasbjerg has established relationships with numerous national retailers including Home Depot, Lowe's, Kohl's and TJX Companies as well as many regional retailers such as Shoprite supermarkets, Ashley Furniture and Best Tile. Pasbjerg works hard to cultivate and establish relationships with local businesses which are the heart and sole of most retail strip centers.

Today, Pasbjerg owns and manages over 1,000,000 sq. ft. of retail space and enjoys a proven track record of high occupancy rates even in today's challenging retail environment.

Who We Are

Steven Nussbaum is the President of Pasbjerg succeeding his father Fred who founded the company. Steven joined the company full time in 1980. He holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from West Virginia University as well as a CSM (Certified Shopping Center Manager) designation from the ICSC. Steven is a licensed real estate broker in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

Geoff Adler joined the company in 1997 as Director of Management. Geoff has over 35 years' experience in commercial property management. He holds a BA in Finance from Cleveland State University and a Master of Science degree in Real Estate Development and Investment from New York University. He is also a licensed salesperson in New Jersey.
